Pride in Place Greenstead

Greenstead is one of the communities across the UK chosen for Pride in Place, a government programme that will invest up to £20 million in our area over the next ten years. The aim is simple: to make Greenstead an even better place to live, work and grow up, with residents shaping how the money is spent.

The programme is guided by the Greenstead Community Board, a group of local residents, community organisations, businesses and partners, working with Colchester City Council. Over the coming months we’ll be talking to as many people as possible to build a long-term vision for Greenstead and a plan for where the first investment should go. Whether you’ve lived here all your life or just moved in, we want to hear from you. This is your Greenstead, and your ideas matter.
